Victor’s curiosity surpasses his fear. He likes to poke the truth with a stick and see if there’s any life left in it. He’s bringing his honest, thought provoking and unapologetic stand up comedy show to Sofia.
We’re supposed to be different but we’re all the same. It’s weird, right?
We’re all just like Victor and he’s just like us and we’re all frustratingly just like each other. Victor began writing jokes about this phenomenon when he moved to London 9 years ago and discovered that people there were just like the people he left back in Romania. Since then, he steadily grew more and more disappointed by how similar we all are.

Victor Pãtrãşcan is a pretentious stand up comedian and outrageous social commentator who lives in London, but who was made in Romania.
Victor has told jokes in English in front of a crowd of people in the UK, Germany, Netherlands, Austria, Sweden, Denmark, Switzerland, Finland, Spain, Ireland, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Luxembourg, United Arab Emirates and Romania. In 2020, for a second year in a row, Victor has topped the rankings of Roast Battle London Premier League.

This born and raised Dutchie always felt a bit out of place in the Netherlands. So, a few years ago he left home to live in Nepal, where he feels even more out of place. Surrounded by spiritual Nepalese, occasional opium dealers, forgotten hippies and millennials trying to find themselves he lost himself more and more but remained captivated by the madness of it all.
Stand-up comedy turned out to be the best outlet for this constant cultural amazement. His way of blowing off steam is quite successful, and he is now one of the biggest comedians in Nepal. Not that being BIG in Nepal is much of an achievement for a tall Dutch guy.
