People First teach you to plan a funeral… by showing you what not to do. Come and look on the bright side of death, with comedy and music.
People First Merseyside is a support and advocacy organisation run by and for adults and with a learning disability.
Their Dignity and Voices in Dying project, was formed after the death of their member David, to support and promote conversations about end-of-life choices. With two tutors from The Comedy Trust, their members have created their Bright Side of Death show. This variety show is a cautionary message about planning your own funeral while you have the chance, rather than letting someone else make a hash of it later.
Content Warnings: Contains language which is unsuitable for young audiences. Contains reference to deaths and novelty 1980s pop music.
