From Jihlava’s self-proclaimed comedian to being Prague’s bilingual comedian killing it both in Czech and English comedy shows.
Being a part of the Underground Comedy he became the first openly gay czech comedian to make an appearance on the tv show Comedy Club, touring the Czech Republic, doing stand-up wherever they need it, cause he knows people have to laugh.
Expect hilarity, ridiculousness, shocking revelations and humor that breaks all the rules.
Because if you can’t laugh at yourself, how do you masturbate?
Damien Smethurst started doing comedy in Prague after accidentally going to a dreadful show and drunkenly thinking he could do better.
He started his own comedy night off the back of this drunken decision, but every time he put on a show the country went into Covid Lockdown a week later.
So he ran away and started a comedy night in Brno instead.
Whether he actually can do better then the awful comedians he saw at that one bad show or not is still unclear, but at least the country doesn’t go into lockdown when he gets on stage now!
