Canadian-cyclist-comedian Dion Owen is bringing his stand-up comedy tour Cyclopath to Luxembourg, with a special show at Konrad’s for the cycling community this Monday night.
Originally from a small town in British Columbia, Canada, Dion got his first road bike in his twenties and was immediately hooked. He started working as a bike mechanic, running a small shop out of his parent’s garage.
His love for cycling led him to do a cross-Canada cycle/stand-up tour all the way from Vancouver Island to Montreal, where he had to cut the tour short due to knee issues. But 2 weeks in Montreal soon turned into 5 years of calling the city his new home.
Now, Dion’s combining all of his passions on an epic European cycling adventure, telling jokes, fixing bikes and camping in weird/cool places.
Come check out his set that looks at the funny side of cycling. And hang out afterwards for a drink with local cyclists.
