Newcastle’s Dave Johns started out as a bricklayer, became stand up in the late Eighties building an enviable reputation amongst peers and punters then decided to throw it all away and become a film star. Although best known for his appearances in the ‘Fishermen’s Friends’ films and playing the title role in ‘I, Daniel Blake’ we can assure you it’s on a comedy stage where Dave really comes into his own. Unmissable.
