We’re happy to report that Berlin’s stand-up comedy scene in English is bursting at all funny seams! Wow!
With a record number of more than 100 up-and-coming comedians taking part, this year’s Berlin New Stand-Up Award is going to really be the fiercest, funniest and exciting competition so far! Come watch the finest fresh new faces from all around Germany work their guts out for the promise of eternal glory, monumental fame and 1000 EUR!
You, the audience, have the power! You decide which top 2 contestants made you laugh the hardest and will go through to the semi-finals!

Neil Numb (SCT)
International Comic, D.J. and promoter, Neil Numb has entertained crowds with his tales of debauchery and penguins for the last 10 years. With a unique style of his own mixing personal tales with absurdist humour, Neil has been one of the pioneers of the Berlin comedy scene. He also looks great in a bikini.
Just back from touring his one-man solo show in Russia, “Death by Natural Causes”, Neil Numb has performed across Europe including in Lisbon, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Edinburgh, and regularly across the thriving Berlin comedy scene. He has also performed private gigs in Melbourne, Australia.
He ist he co-organizer of the legendary Cosmic Comedy Club in Berlin and Cosmic Comedy at the Edinburgh Comedy Festival as well as owner and main chili-head at https://berlinchilifest.com

Tera Kilbride (USA)
Tera’s an international stand up comedian, host and producer, originally from the United States, living in Berlin, Germany. She’s performed English standup in 12 countries + adding to the roster! Tera´s known for her energetic delivery, her bold content and fearlessly engaging with her audience. Her shows always have a positive, welcoming vibe. Credits include The Hamburg International Comedy Festival (2021/2022) hosting for the Berlin New Standup Awards (2021), and Berlin Mental Health Festival at Cosmic Comedy (2021); and Boom Chicago! Comedy Festival (2022, 2023 accepted). She was featured on the Television Show Standup Revolution Romania (2022).
