The planned production Be Careful What You Wish For can no longer take place under the current covid measures in the circumstances as it should have been played.
In May 2019 Alex Agnew premiered in the Antwerp sports palace with his new show Be Careful What You Wish For. With the theater tour of the same name, he then toured VL and NL theaters for at least 150 shows.
But on March 12, 2020, the world suddenly stood still. Theaters were also closed.
The world is ready for a new start, so is Alex Agnew. During BCWYWF there was already the #MeToo, the gender debate, but suddenly there was a virus, Black Lives Matter, and where have those climate activists gone?
Alex Agnew starts from the themes of BCWYWF, but takes the audience along on the rollercoaster that races through his head.
This mix of existing and new material is the run-up to a completely new show. Make comedy funny again. Keep Comedy Evil.
